Sarawak Urban Forum 2.0 (SUF 2.0) is an urban development platform organised by Dewan Bandaraya Kuching Utara (DBKU). It brings together policymakers, government agencies, industry professionals, academics, private-sector representatives, community leaders and other urban stakeholders to exchange knowledge and discuss the future of cities.
The theme for SUF 2.0 is “Future-Ready Cities: Building a Resilient Future – Collaborate, Adapt, Thrive.”
The forum focuses on collaboration, urban resilience, innovation, sustainability and preparing cities for future challenges.
SUF 2.0 will be held from 24 to 27 October 2026.
The forum will be held at Hikmah Exchange Event Centre (HEEC), Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.

Participants will need to provide their personal, contact and organisation details before selecting the programmes or activities they wish to attend.
Yes. The SUF 2.0 registration system supports both Individual Registration and Group Registration.
For group registration, a representative or coordinator may provide the required participant details for members of the group.
The SUF 2.0 Main Forum is a paid programme.
Certain programmes and side activities may be offered free of charge, subject to availability and capacity. Applicable fees will be displayed during registration.
Yes. Once your registration has been successfully submitted, a confirmation will be sent to your registered email address.

You may also use the registration recovery feature using the email address entered during registration. If you are still unable to locate your registration, please contact the SUF 2.0 Secretariat.
Yes. Registered participants may update permitted registration information through the participant registration management facility.
Certain information may be restricted from editing once payment or event accreditation has been completed.
Yes. Where programme selection is available, participants may choose one or multiple optional activities, subject to programme availability and capacity.
Some programmes form part of the main SUF 2.0 package, while selected activities require participants to indicate their interest separately.

Yes, where the programme schedule permits it. Participants may select a single activity or multiple activities.
The registration system may restrict conflicting selections where activities take place at the same time.
Yes. Certain side events, technical visits, workshops and activities have limited capacity.
Once capacity has been reached, registration for that activity may be closed or participants may be placed on a waiting list.
Where available, participants may be offered a waiting-list option. If a place subsequently becomes available, eligible participants on the waiting list may be offered the seat.
Your attendance will depend on your registration package and selected activities. Participants are encouraged to review the programme schedule and attend the sessions included in their registration.
Registered participants may receive a digital or printed delegate pass containing a QR code. The QR code may be scanned at designated event entrances or sessions to record attendance.
Yes. Eligible registered participants will receive a delegate pass for identification and event access.
Instructions regarding digital passes, printed badges or badge collection will be communicated before the event.
Participants are advised to bring a valid identification document that corresponds with the information submitted during registration.
Yes. SUF 2.0 welcomes international participants.
International participants may be required to provide passport, country, contact and organisation information during registration.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they meet applicable travel and immigration requirements for entering Malaysia.
Yes. Participants may provide information about accessibility or special assistance requirements during registration so that appropriate arrangements can be considered.
Personal information collected through SUF 2.0 registration will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy and personal data protection requirements.
Certain government agencies, partners, sponsors or participating organisations may be provided with special registration arrangements or approved fee waivers where applicable.
All completed SUF 2.0 ticket, registration, and pass purchases are final and non-refundable.
Refunds will not be provided for personal schedule conflicts, illness, non-attendance, or other personal circumstances.
If the event is cancelled or rescheduled by the organiser, affected participants will be notified by email regarding any applicable rescheduling, credit, or official refund procedure.
No. Once payment has been completed, SUF 2.0 registrations and passes are non-transferable and cannot be reassigned to another participant.
No. All ticket, registration, and pass sales are final.
Once payment is completed, purchases are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-creditable toward future events.
If the organiser fully cancels or reschedules the event, affected participants will be notified by email regarding rescheduled dates or any official credit/refund procedure.
Yes. The latest SUF 2.0 programme schedule will be available through the official event website.
Participants are encouraged to check the programme regularly as session details, speakers or timings may be updated.
Yes. Important programme changes may be published on the SUF 2.0 website and communicated to registered participants through official communication channels.
